Hi, I’m Lesley Andrew, an artist and trauma informed art psychotherapist.
I help women in midlife use creativity and art therapy to express what feels hard to say, reconnect with themselves, and build confidence in a way that feels safe, compassionate, and real.
When words are not enough, art heals
This may be for you if......
You look like you’re coping on the outside, while privately feeling stretched, lost, or emotionally exhausted.
You might be used to being capable, dependable, and thoughtful towards everyone else, but have quietly lost touch with your own needs, voice, and creative spark.

Creativity is not about being talented or producing something perfect. It can be a way to slow down, regulate your nervous system, express feelings that feel stuck, and reconnect with parts of yourself that have been pushed aside for too long.
Art therapy can be especially helpful when life feels confusing, heavy, or difficult to explain. It creates a structured but flexible space to explore what is happening emotionally, without needing to have all the right words straight away.
